Johana Burns was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, where Spanish is her native language. From an early age, she developed a strong interest in the English language and cross-cultural communication. After completing her studies in International Business, Johana relocated to the United States, where she fully immersed herself in American culture and professional life.

Committed to achieving complete linguistic and cultural fluency, Johana dedicated herself to mastering English through daily use and continuous refinement of context, phrasing, and pronunciation. This dedication has shaped her professional approach and deepened her appreciation for precise, nuanced communication—particularly in high-stakes settings.

Johana brings exceptional passion and professionalism to her work and to the language services industry as a whole. Outside of her professional endeavors, Johana is deeply committed to her community. She is an advocate for animal welfare, has fostered and adopted several dogs, and volunteers her interpretation services for organizations supporting animal rescue and related causes.
